I would buy so much of it if I knew how to sew, but sadly I don't so for now I just look. When I do eventually learn to sew you better watch out because I'll probably go nuts!

So many wonderful options out there.

Artsy Tuesday - Pixie Pixels

I introduce to you Melinda from Pixie Pixels on Etsy. She is from New York and was born into an artistic family so she has always pursued the arts. Although she's had many different kinds of jobs, art has always come back to her. She says 'No matter what job I did, I always found myself sketching and painting'. Her theme includes whimsical French inspired designs. I can tell Melinda is a true artist, heart and soul. Her prints are absolutely wonderful. She mixes vintage, classy, mod and romance in her work. I really love how vibrant her prints are, but yet so versatile. You can hang them in your kitchen, bathroom, office, or even nursery. The colors she uses are absolutely beautiful. Here is some of her work. I hope you like them as much as I do!

Love, love, love! Her aquatic prints would look amazing in my bathrooms and that birdcage print, I swoon! I think I may need to put these on my Christmas list! Melinda also has three other shops on Etsy, as well, Coffee Shop, Keep Calm Posters, and Keep Calm Shop. So go check out her Pixie Pixels shop  and her other three on Etsy. You will not be dissapointed at all. Very cute stuff and they would make great additions to any space or great gifts {you know Christmas is around the corner!}.

Its about that time of the year when people start stocking up on Halloween decor and trying to find a costume for that All Hallow's Eve celebration. I personally love Halloween. It is by far my favorite holiday. I love to decorate and dress up every year. I love to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out several pumpkins for carving and making homemade pumpkin seeds. The thing I look forward to the most is watching all the scary movie classics that come on television. I am a huge horror/scary movie person. It is my favorite movie genre. We never skip Halloween at my place.

Here are some fantastically spooky yet affordable decor I found on the web.

Antique Mercury Glass Pumpkin; Pottery Barn

Carved Wood Pumpkin; Pottery Barn

Haunted House Candleholder; Pottery Barn

Set of 4 Trick or Treat Halloween Dessert Plates; Grandinroad

Albagore Halloween Skeleton Figure; Grandinroad

Lighted Owl Yard Stake; Pier 1 Imports

Skeleton Stacking Platters; West Elm

Glitter Skull; West Elm

Gothic Maid and Butler; Z Gallerie

Metallic Spider; Z Gallerie

Halloween Luminaries; Pottery Barn Kids

Halloween Tumbler Set; Pottery Barn Kids

I actually have the mercury and wood carved pumpkins from Pottery Barn. They are fabulous and can be used through Thanksgiving. Is anyone decorating or dressing up for Halloween this year? If so, let me know in the comments section what your going to be!

Drooling Over These Entryways

I really need to get on the ball and figure out what I want to do with my entryway. When you first walk into my condo it is so blah. I need a place for hanging coats, purses, keys, you name it. A mail sorter would also be helpful since I just throw my mail anywhere these days because I don't have a well organized designated spot. Look at these beautiful photos of entryways. I wish I could have an extravagant entryway, but  I do not have the space nor the funds for it. I need to come up with an efficient solution on the cheap, but I can still use these pictures as inspiration, right?

Artsy Tuesday - Trafalgar's Square

I introduce to you Kit and Adam Chase of Trafalgar's Square on Etsy. They are from California. Kit creates the characters and paintings, while her husband, Adam, creates the story lines. Kit and Adam dreamed up there little shop on long evening strolls.  Kit describes Trafalgar's Square on her blog as "the woodland residential community of whimsical creatures, particularly of Trafalgar the rabbit." Her art is meant for children, but that doesn't necessarily mean its only for children. She definitely has a few pieces that could be pulled off by people who just love magical things and still have that child-like imagination.

Trafalgar's Square is one of the very first shops on Etsy that went on my favorites list. I loved it at first sight and thought even though I may not have children now doesn't mean I never will and if I ever did, I'd want a lot of her sweet art! All of her prints are beautiful and so whimsical. They would be perfect in a nursery or a children's room. I even would use some now on my living room gallery wall because they are so darn cute. I still have that child-like imagination from time to time and I would love to be reminded that I once was an innocent child. Here are some of my favorites from her shop, but she has many more to take a look at.

{Kitty Girl Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Royal Grey Rabbit Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Bubble Party Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Tweethearts Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Fox Girl Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Story Girl Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Party Animals Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Royal Lion Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Reach for the Stars Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Wishing on a Star Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Royal Little Owl Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Book Buddies Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

{Tell Me a Story Print; Trafalgar's Square on Etsy}

Ahh, I absolutely love all of her owl prints, of course. So adorable! Please go check out her precious shop on Etsy and her blog, like I mentioned before. She's having a 36% off sale right now on her 8x10 prints, but it will only be for a limited time.
